JAMMU, Oct 27: A meeting of Village Level Workers’ Association (VLWA), Jammu Province, was held today under the chairmanship of State general secretary, Anurudh Singh, to elect office bearers.
The meeting which was attended by districts presidents as well as other members of the association, unanimously elected Pankaj Rajput as president of Jammu Province, Ajit Singh as general secretary, Rakesh Thappa as province secretary, Ajit Singh as organizer, Kuldeep Padha as publicity secretary, Ravi Gupta as cashier, Khadim Shah as secretary, Rakesh Batla as media secretary and Ram Murti as advisor.
Meanwhile, the meeting highlighted their demand of creation of post of ‘Panchayat Inspectors’ in the newly created CD Blocks as early as possible.
