JAMMU, Feb 10: Vichar Kranti Manch International (VKMI) distributed about 500 woolen blankets among the needy and poor, especially the laborers of Ware House and Nehru Market Whole Sale Food Grain Mandi, here today.
Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Chander Mohan Gupta was chief guest on the occasion while Abdul Rahim Rather, former Finance Minister of J&K, was the guest of honor. ID Soni, State Commissioner Bharat Scouts and Guides, presided over the function while Dr Shreyansh Kumar Jain conducted proceedings of the function.
On this occasion, Mayor also distributed track suits to around 50 inmates of JRC Home for handicapped Udaiwala Jammu. Besides, VKMI honored more than 50 dignitaries for their generosity and magnanimity in helping the needy and poor from time to time.
