JAMMU, Oct 17: On the eve of Vishwakarma Day, Pradesh Vishwakarma Sabha will organize a grand Shoba Yatra on October 20 which will be flagged off by Chedi Lal Vishwakarma, Akhil Bhartya Vishwakarma Mahasabha (ABVMS) president and S. Inderjeet Singh (grandson of former President of India, Giani Jail Singh), Vice President ABVMS along with local leaders including Rashpal Verma and Kuldeep Verma, ex-Vice Chairman of OBC Board.
In a press conference here today Pradesh Vishwakarma Sabha informed that the Shoba Yatra will start from Vishwakarma Chowk Gurha Bakshi Nagar at 11:00 am and will pass through Canal Road, Guru Ravidas Chowk (Jewal), Gummat, Raghunath Bazar, City Chowk, Indira Chowk, KC Chowk, Maheshpura Chowk and finally it will culminate at Vishwakarma Temple Gurha Bakshi Nagar.
The Shoba Yatra will include various tableaus of Lord Vishwakarma depicting his wonderful actions and the science he gave to the mankind.
Shashi Verma, Pradesh Vishwakarma Sabha president has appealed to the people from all sections of the society to participate in the event and have blessings of Lord Vishwakarma.
Verma also informed that Vishwakarma Day will be celebrated on October 28 wherein Pooja and Langars will be held at each Vishwakarma temple.
