JAMMU, Feb 3: President of India Ram Nath Kovid has extended the term of Advocate Vishal Sharma as Assistant Solicitor General of India (ASGI) for a period of three years for Jammu Wing of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir.
An order to this effect has been issued by the Union Ministry of Law and Justice.
In January 2019, Advocate Vishal Sharma was engaged as Assistant Solicitor General of India for a period of three years for the Jammu Wing of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir which term expired in January 2022 and now his term has been extended by the President of India for a further period of three years.
Advocate Vishal Sharma started practising in the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir in the year 1997 and has also served as Additional Advocate General for the then State of Jammu & Kashmir in the year 2015.
