Viraj Kala Kendra presents nukkad natak ‘Rishvatkhori Nahi Chalegi’

JAMMU, Aug 8: Viraj Kala Kendra, Jammu has presented nukkad natak on the theme “Rishvatkhori Nahi Chalegi” at Rani Park, here on the silver jubilee show of the scheme launched by J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Jammu.
The play was a satire on those officials who accept bribe from innocent people fulfilling their petty works in the departments. The easy money is utilized by those officials for drinking alcohol, purchase luxury items for their family members and to increase their bank accounts. Strict laws should be made to nip the evil in the bud. Youth of the country should come forward to expose these evils and teach a lesson to such ugly faces of the society.
The nukkad was full of humorous idioms and phrases and much of the part is in poetic form. It has been written and directed by Rajneesh Gupta.
The play was beautifully presented by seasoned artists such as Santosh Sangra, Lalita Tapasvi, Pawan Verma, Meera Tapasvi, Love Anand and Ankush Bhasin. The child artists who performed in the play were Indira and Aditya.
