UDHAMPUR Aug 28: Thousands of inhabitants of village Bhatyari and adjoining hamlets are virtually cut off from mainland for the last two months following blockage of Kote and Doonga due to worst condition of road.
Villagers of Kaghote, Bhatyari, Sari, Barota and Dalsar are suffering because of the worst condition of the road, which is only surface link for them to Tehsil headquarters Ramnagar.
Alleging no action by the PWD authorities to improve the road condition, locals of village Bhatyari and adjoining area also held a protest demonstration today and raised slogans against the district administration.
The inhabitants of village Ladana and adjoining hamlets are facing the similar situation for the last two month following blockage of Kulvanta to Ladana road due to landslide near Lwoi and worst condition road.
Villagers of Foungari, Pangyal, Kakole and Kalhate and Ladana are suffering because of the landslide and worst condition of the road.
