UDHAMPUR, Aug 6: A protest demonstration was today against MES and PWD here at Village Jib.
Over 100 villagers assembled at Jib Chowk and staged demonstration against the administration for not maintaining the road of Jib-Thathi. They also blocked the Jib road for two hours.
Raising slogans against District administration, the protesters alleged that both the departments are not serious in this public issue. Villagers warned the concerned authorities that if their demand is not considered they will start a strong agitation against District administration.
They further added that their struggle will go on till their demand is fulfilled and the work of road is started.
The protesting villagers added that despite repeated requests and protests demonstrations the concerned departments are not giving heed towards meeting their genuine demands.
