RAJOURI, Mar 20: A villager was seriously injured after he was ambushed by a bear in Kotranka area of district Rajouri today.
Official sources said that the villager namely Ghulam Mustafa, son of Mohd Bashir, Prori in Tehsil Koteranka had gone to nearby forest. He was suddenly attacked by a full grown bear and left him seriously injured.
After hearing his screams, locals of the area reached with lathis on the spot and rescued him. In serious condition, he was shifted to GMC Rajouri by locals. Due to loss of excessive blood his condition was said to be serious.
