POONCH, Mar 20: A young truck driver died after he fell down from truck in Saiklu area of Mandi in Poonch today.
Official sources said that the driver in injured condition was taken to Sub District Hospital Mandi by the locals but he succumbed to his injuries.
Doctors said that driver was brought dead. He was having head injury with severe bleeding after he reportedly fell down from top of the vehicle while doing some work. After performing legal formalities body was handed over to Police.
Deceased truck driver was identified as Ajaz Ahmed (29), son of Mohd Afzal Khan, resident of village Baila in Mandi.
Station House Officer Mandi, Inspector Mukhtiar Ali said that body was handed over to family for last rites after performing all the legal formalities in SDH Mandi.
