MENDHAR, Mar 31: A 52-year-old man was died under mysterious circumstances at his home at village Dhar Galoon in Mendhar Sub Division of district Poonch this afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Mohd Rafiq, son of Munshi, resident of Dhar Galoon. His family members brought him to Sub District Hospital, Mendhar this evening where doctors declared him as brought dead. The Medical staff informed Police Station, Mendhar about the matter.
The police party reached the hospital and started questioning of the members. The wife and children of the deceased were giving contradictory statements to police. The police send the body for postmortem and started investigation. The SDPO said that matter was suspicious and a case under section 174 CrPc has been registered in this connection.
