RAJOURI, Dec 2: A villager was killed in a road accident in Kotranka area of district Rajouri this afternoon.
An official spokesman said that 56-year-old Mohd Ashraf, son of Mohd Yousuf, resident of Jaglanoo village in Kotranka received serious head injuries after he was hit by a speeding motor-cycle near Kotranka town at around 1.30 pm today. The villager was hit and thrown away on the road with the impact of strong push by the bike.
He was rushed to local Kotranka hospital where he succumbed to injuries at around 3 pm. The police seized the bike and registered a case against biker- Ravinder Singh (22), son of Chamail Singh, resident of village Hubbi in Kotranka (Kandi).
