Vijaypur Police solves cheating case

SAMBA, Aug 19:    Vijaypur Police worked out cheating case of withdrawing the money fraudulently from the SBI Bank account of  Kuldeep Raj of Chack Salaria Tehsil Ramgarh District Samba.
While giving details police said that it came to fore that on August 8 on the written complaint of one Ankush Sharma S/o Kuldeep Raj R/o Chack Salaria Tehsil Ramgard, district Samba stated that after he withdrew Rs.800/- from the ATM of State Bank opposite Railway road Vijaypur on July 7 additional amount of Rs. 21800/- were withdrawn from his bank account without his knowledge.
Police said a case under FIR No.100/2016 U/S 420/379/34/ RPC was registered at P/S Vijaypur and the investigation was started.
During investigation of the case three suspects namely Dharminder Kumar S/o Jantri Prasad R/o village Madar Binduwalia, tehsil Padona, district Khushi Nagar (U.P), Dharminder Singh S/o Gurdeep Singh R/o W.No.13, Patel Nagar, Kathua and Narender Kumar S/o Chatru Ram R/o W.No.14 Nag Nagar Kathua were arrested and after sustained interrogation, they admitted the commission of offence. The stolen cash to the tune of Rs.17000/- was also recovered from the accused. The trio was also found to be involved in a similar offences in the jurisdiction of Police Station Ghagwal were case under FIR No.66/2016 U/S 420/379/RPC stands registered and the further investigation of the same is going on.
