SAMBA, Aug 23:Vijaypur Police today busted a gang of burglars and recovered Gold and Silver ornaments worth Rs. 75000/- from them.
According to police, acting on the basis of a complaint filed by one Girdhari Lal S/o Munshi Ram R/o Channi Manhasan, Swankha reporting that gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 75000 were stolen from his residence by burglars.
The Vijaypur police swung into action and within 24 hours a gang of three burglars namely Jahagir Khan S/o Salam Khan, Mohd Nonihal S/o Mohd. Salim Khan both resident of Gokhlapur, tehsil and district Araria, P/S Narpatganj and Phullo Khan S/o Rizwan Khan R/o Sodyan, tehsil & distt. Supaul, State Bihar got arrested. All the stolen items were recovered from them. People of the area highly appreciated the swift response of Vijaypur Police. The police team led by SHO Vijaypur Inspector Jalil Kichloo, and close supervision of Abhishek Sharma, SDPO Vijaypur raided various places to nab the burglars.
