JAMMU, Mar 4: Vijay Club, Param Football Club and Pt Prem Nath Dogra FC registered emphatic wins over their rivals, while NGR got walkover against DFA Samba in the ongoing Pt Prem Nath Dogra Memorial Gold Cup Football Tournament, being organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA), under the banner of All India Football Federation (AIFF) at Mini Stadium, Parade here.
In the first match, NGR FC got walkover against DFA Samba, while in the second match of the day, Vijay Club got the better of Mussa Football Club by a solitary goal. Dushyant was the goal scorer who netted it in the 34th minute of the match.
In another match, Param Football Club defeated Sports Saviours by a solitary goal (1-0). Sourav scored the goal in 15th minute of the match.
In the last match of the day, Pt Prem Nath Dogra (PPND) FC defeated Sainik Colony FC by two goals to nil (2-0). Govind scored the first goal in 9th minute, while Minku netted the second goal in 14th minute.
The matches were officiated by Dil Bahadur, Dheeraj Menia, Ricky, Rocky and Nitika, while Rakesh Khanna is the Organising Secretary of the Tournament.
Prominent among others who witnessed the match included Mohan Lal, Feastus Sotra and Bharat Bhushan.
