JAMMU, Aug 9: Vigilance Organization Jammu has booked a Patwari for issuing fake and fraudulent Revenue Extracts of a piece of land at Deeli to someone else who was impersonated as the owner.
A case FIR No. 16/2016 P/S VOJ has been registered under section 5(1) (d) r/w 5(2) J&K P.C Act Svt. 2006 Section 419, 420 and 120-B RPC on the prima facie establishment of offences on the part of the then Patwari Shabir Ahmad Gorsi and others.
The case was registered after verification conducted by Vigilance Organization, regarding the complaint duly endorsed by Spl Judge Anti Corruption Jammu, U/S 156 (3) CrPC. Father of the complainant brothers, who died on 09/08/1998, was having occupancy rights with respect to land measuring 10 marlas falling under Khasra No. 905 min, Khata No. 266, Khewat No. 35 situated at Deeli Tehsil and District Jammu.
With respect to the said piece of land, a fake and fraudulent fard stood issued to someone else in the year 2012, impersonating himself as the complainant’s father Mian Singh who later on transferred land ownership to Sheraan Khan and Rajni Bala Mehta in league with the then Patwari Jagjeet Singh and the witnesses namely Paramveer Singh and Mahinder Singh in the execution of sale deed.
The verification revealed that late Mian Singh had occupancy rights of above mentioned land who died on 09/09/1998, but someone else (impersonator) after his death, in league with the Patwari namely Shabir Ahmad Gorsi, who was looking after the Patwar Khana during the leave period of concerned Patwari namely Jagjeet Singh, issued Fard in favour of impersonator. The impersonator later on in league with the accused Patwari Shabir Ahmad Gorsi and witnesses to the sale deed namely Paramvir Singh and Mahinder Pal Signh sold the land of Late Mian Singh through sale deed duly executed on 22/02/2012 before the Registrar Jammu in favour of beneficiaries namely Shereen Khan wife of Kamran Khan and Rajni Bala Mehta wife of Brijesh Mehta.
