RAJOURI, Nov 19: Lauding Muslims for thronging the streets against ISIS, Member Legislative Council and State Vice President of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) advocate Vibodh Gupta has said that there is need that Muslims should openly oppose terrorism so that a confidence is build and nation moves forward under one umbrella of nationhood.
While addressing gathering at Rajdhani Thannamandi advocate Vibodh Gupta welcomed step of Muslim community in big cities of India for taking a march on the streets against the activities of ISIS – a terrorist group. He said that this step of Muslims is being highly appreciated from all nook and corners of the country and such attitude needs to be adopted by the Muslims of J&K also. He said that maximum of Muslims from J&K State are also against the terrorism but there is need of open opposition so that a confidence is build among the communities and nation is strengthened.
Appreciating Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed for his statement recently, Vibodh said that Chief Minister has given a positive message to the Muslims of India recently by stating that there is need of open opposition to terrorism especially by Muslim community.
He said that road march in 70 cities and statement by J&K’s CM are positive signs and is very effective step of gaining confidence among various communities.
