RAJOURI, Sept 18: : Taking stock of the development activities in the Rajouri city, Member of Legislative Council (MLC) advocate Vibodh Gupta today inspected various development works which includes the repairing of the tiles and construction of the lanes and drains which are connection Rajouri to other areas of the district etc. Accompanied by the officers of Public Works Department (PWD), Municipality and other prominent citizens of the city, Vibodh Gupta took a round of the whole main bazaar and directed the officers to speed-up the repairing work of tiles at various spots of the Rajouri city. He asked the officers to make an estimate for the expenditure to be incurred for the repairing of the tiles so that he can released the required amount from his allotted Community Development Fund (CDF). While interacting with many shopkeepers, Vibodh apprised them that the work of blacktopping on the rest of the adjoining roads will be start soon and he directed the officers concerned to maintain the quality and ensure the timely completion of all the projects. Vibodh assured to the people that the present BJP-PDP Government headed by Chief Minister Mufti Mohd Sayeed is taking every possible step for the betterment of the people of the Rajouri and the initiatives will also being taken in future to minimise the suffering of the people to a larger extent. Vibodh further said that being the loyalist of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) and Rajouri, he is committed to work for the development of Rajouri in all aspects.
He also asked the people in general and party activists in particular to propagate the agenda of development to every nook and corner of the city to aware the masses about the development activities being carried on by the present government.
