VHP demands high level probe into Dhangri militant attack

JAMMU, Jan 10: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) working president, Rajesh Gupta demanded a high level probe into Dhangri killings.
Gupta, who led a team of J&K VHP to have at and on the spot study of the situation in the fateful village where seven villagers were gunned down by terrorists said a high level probe is needed to bring facts to light and punish the culprits and their over ground supporters.
He said the attack was not possible without the support of over ground activists of Jehadi groups.
He demanded sophisticated weapons be given to VDCs, CRPF posts be installed & patrolling be intensified in border belt and sensitive areas, steps be taken to restore confidence among the minority Hindus, forest land be restored which has been encroached by the mafia, the VHP be consulted in constitution of VDCs, VDC member who fired on terrorists be honoured, enhancement of compensation to victims families and proper medical care be given to injured.
The other members of delegation were vice president, VHP Shakti Dutt Sharma, Seh Mantri, Karan Singh, Bajrang Dal convener, Kartik Soodan and Dharmacharya Sampark Parmukh, Apaar Sharma. They assured all help and assistance to the families of victims.
