JAMMU, Feb 4: The Verification Section at District Police Office (DPO) Jammu has received 2475 calls since its start in the month of July last year.
As per official spokesman, District Police Jammu has started a helpline 8491830830 headed by Inspector Nimi Razdhan and assisted by Constable Parveen Kumar, Constable Govind Dass and Follower Anshu Atri from July 2019 to facilitate the people to know the status of their passport/service verifications or any query related to verification.
“Since, the start of this initiative, the Verification Section DPO Jammu has received 2475 calls. In the month of January 2020, 350 people have been able to resolve their issues pertaining to passport/service verification through this helpline number”, spokesman informed.
Public in general is requested to utilize the services of this helpline phone number and share it with your friends & relatives who have applied for passport verification, spokesman said, adding that it will reduce the inconvenience of public to attend the DPO Jammu in person (especially the far-flung area of District Jammu).
