JAMMU, June 2: Talab Tillo police busted vehicles lifter gang with the arrest of 3 persons and recovery of stolen cars.
As per police sources, on February 25 this year, a complaint was lodged by Rohit Anand, son of Subash Anand of Puran Nagar with Police Post Talab Tillo regarding theft of his Maruti car bearing registration number JK02AA-0912 from outside his house.

Acting over the compliant, a case under FIR Number 37/2020 under Section 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Nowabad and investigation started.
During investigation, many suspects were rounded up, leads were developed and footage of CCTV cameras installed near place of occurrence was taken.
Based on the leads, a man identified as Jashbir Singh alias Sonu, son of Avtar Singh of Thanda Pani Tehsil Sunderbani District Rajouri was arrested. During questioning, Jashbir Singh admitted his involvement in afore mentioned theft case and on his disclosure the car was recovered.
On further questioning, Jashbir Singh disclosed that two more persons namely Rashpal Singh alias Kaka, son of Budhi Singh of Khawas District Rajouri at present Tawa Purkhoo Camp, Jammu and Chain Singh, son of Pritam Singh of Khawas District Rajouri, at present Purkhoo Camp, Jammu are also involved in said case.
Accordingly, they were also arrested from their native places and brought to Jammu.
During enquiry, Rashpal Singh and Chain Singh admitted their involvement in two more cases of Police Station Nowabad and on their instance 3 more vehicles were recovered.
Further questioning of the arrested persons is going on.
The arrest was made by Incharge Police Post Talab Tillo SI Kali Charan under the supervision of SHO Nowabad Inspector Deepak Jasrotia, SDPO West Amit Sharma, SP City PD Nitya and SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil.
