RAJOURI, Sept 28: The police seized a vehicle loaded with eight bovine animals on Jammu-Rajouri highway near Lamberi last night.
Official sources said that a police naka party led by SI Bikram Singh intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle No. JK11B/2209 near Lamberi at around 3 am. The vehicle driver tried to break the naka and run away. He then left the vehicles on the road side and escaped taking cover of darkness. The police seized the vehicle and rescued 8 bovine cattle loaded in it. The vehicle was believed to be on way to Kashmir via Mughal Road. A case was registered at Rajouri Police Station in this connection.
