RAJOURI, July 27: Police seized a load carrier and rescued four bovine animals from the clutches of smugglers in Pir Bhadesar area today.
Reports said police party led by ASI Asgar under the supervision of ASP Nowshera Rakesh Sharma and SDPO Pardeep Singh laid a naka and seized Tata Mobile vehicle No. JK-11/9320. The driver and his associate jumped out before the naka point, leaving behind the vehicle. The police found four bovine animals loaded in it. The vehicle along with animals was seized. A case has been registered in this connection. A manhunt for the accused was launched.
