Vegetable Association members take up issues with Sham

JAMMU, Jan 9: The members of Vegetable Association, Narwal Mandi, Jammu took up their burning issues with the former minister and senior Congress leader Sham Lal Sharma today.
A meeting of the Vegetable Association Narwal Mandi was held today wherein, former Minister Sham Lal Sharma was specially invited by its newly elected president Surinder Singh Kala. During the meeting, various issues were highlighted by the members.
The Association projected various problems confronted by them which include issue of Kerosene oil, facilities of well equipped Health Centre etc, besides proper cleanliness, effective drainage system and repair of road leading to Mandi etc. They said though a small Health centre is existing here but that is not well equipped. Even no Medical officer is available there. They further brought into the notice of Sharma that Health Centre in Vegetable market across the country are fully equipped so that timely Medicare is provided to the needy. They demanded that a good Health Centres with adequate facilities should be there in Vegetable market. They appreciated the work during Congress Government which he did for vegetable dealers.
During interaction with Sharma, the Association members brought out that they took up various issues to the notice of previous BJP- PDP Govt at number of times but no action was taken to resolve them. Sham Lal listened to their problems patiently and assured them that he will take up their genuine problems with the appropriate authorities and ensure immediate resolution for the same.
