SRINAGAR: Senior leader Abdul Rehman Veeri has been nominated as chairman of the Election Board of ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jammu and Kashmir, where the government has announced to hold Panchayat elections next month. PDP Vice President Mohammad Sartaj Madni said on Friday that party president Mehbooba Mufti on Friday nominated Mr Abdul Rehman Veeri as Chairman of the Election Board of the Party. He said that she has also nominated Mr Flail Singh and Mr Dhaman Bhasin as members of the Election Board. (AGENCIES)
