Veeri asks Govt to ensure water, power supply to migrant camps on Shivratri

JAMMU, Feb 25: PDP Deputy Leader in State Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rehman Veeri today urged the Government to ensure proper arrangements for the Maha Shivratri Festival and maintain a proper  check on prices of essential commodities.
Addressing a meeting of KP activists of his party here, today he said that Government should ensure water supply and power supply during the festival and also make arrangements for sale of walnuts and other essential items needed by the Biradari members for pooja purposes.
He said the Government should ensure full check on the prices of vegetables, walnuts and other items and ensure their supply in abundance in camps.
He expressed the hope that the festival will bring a good message for the people of State and take it on the path of progress and prosperity.
The prominent PDP Migrant Wing leaders who addressed the meeting included its president,  Ashok Sidha, Durga Nath Bhat, Dwarika Nath, Maharaj Krishan (retd DySP), Manoj Kaul, S K Raina, Nana Ji Wattal, Bharat Bushan and Anju Bhan.
