srinagar, Aug 10: A Mahayagna was organized by Vitasta Devsthan Prabhandak Committee (VDPC) on the occasion of Sharavan Purnima, at historic Shiv Temple in Omouh Verinag.
Jyotshi BL Sharma solemnized the Mahayagna. HN Pandita and Shamboo Nath Bhat were the Yajmans on the Hawan.
Hundreds of devotees including men, women and children attended the religious programme and paid their obeisance. The special prayers and rituals were performed along with Bhajan and Kirtan. The religious flag was also unfurled by Ashok Jee of Lawdoura.
All the devotees were served with Prasad after Puranahuti.
