JAMMU, Oct 15: The Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu, Prof Pradeep K Sharma today inaugurated the newly constructed building of Vice-Chancellor’s official residence (Duplex) at Chatha Campus of the University in a simple function held here today.
The construction of Vice-Chancellor’s residence at Chatha Campus is another feather in the cap of SKUAST-J.
Iqbal Singh, Estates Officer informed that the building has been constructed at a cost of Rs 93.76 lakhs by the Firm M/s NPCC Ltd. (A Govt. of India Enterprise) having an area of 536M² and funded by the State Plan funds. With the creation of this facility, the efficiency and working of the institution shall get a boost.
The Vice-Chancellor appreciated the efforts of Estates Officer and his team for creating this state of the art infrastructure. Director Extension, Dr KS Risam, Comptroller- cum- Registrar, Rajesh Talwar, Dean FVSc & AH RS Pura, Dr MMS. Zama, Dean, FoA, Dr DP Abrol, Dean FBSc, Dr SEH Rizvi were among others present at the inaugural function.
