SRINAGAR, Apr 12: With an aim to empower youth entrepreneurs, a magazine titled, ‘Startup Kashmir magazine’ was launched here today.
The magazine was launched by Director, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar, Prof. Ravinder Nath, who is also Vice Chancellor – Central University Kashmir (CUK).
The launch event witnessed the presence of enablers in the startup community, including Shahid Ansari, Founder and Chief Editor of Startup Kashmir Magazine, Shahid Mir, CEO of Greenovator Incubation Foundation (GIF).
Startup Kashmir, is first of its kind magazine that focuses on innovations, entrepreneurship and start-ups. The publications shall serve as a connection between the opportunities underlying in the region and the availability of support systems across startup facilitators, incubators and accelerators.
The magazine aims to inspire and guide aspiring idea generators and entrepreneurs in realizing their business ventures by providing requisite support and guidance.
Among others who graced the event included, Dr. Saad Parvez (PI GIF), Prof. MF Wani, and Prof. Harmain.
