JAMMU, Jan 19: Prof Akbar Masood, Vice Chancellor Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri visited the Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine ( IIIM ) Jammu and met Prof Zabeer Ahmed, Director IIIM Jammu.
Both the Heads of the Institutions discussed the possibilities of collaboration between the two institutions in different areas of science and technology.
Prof Akbar Masood said that to begin with the Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University will depute the Heads of various departments of Sciences to visit IIIM Jammu to discuss the initiatives to be jointly taken up by both the institutions.
Prof Akbar Masood said that towards the ViksitBharat@2047, it is imperative upon the institutions of higher learning to collaborate with each other in diverse fields of study to develop cutting edge technology in emerging areas of science and technology. He said that the collaboration of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University with IIIM Jammu will not only benefit the faculty members for initiating collaborative research but will open up new vistas of opportunities for the students and researchers of both the institutions to benefit from the institutional expertise.
