RAJOURI, Oct 25: Vice Chancellor (VC), Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), Prof Javid Musarrat, released four books in a function held today in University campus.
The first book released was ‘Financial Accounting’ written by Prof Naseem Ahmed, Dean School of Management Studies. Prof Naseem is a well known author in the field of commerce. He has published more than 10 books on various themes related to financial accounting and accounting techniques. This book aims to give a deep theoretical and practical knowledge of accounting principles and techniques for business and commerce Students.
Other books titled Self Help Groups – Instrument of Social Welfare in India, Governance in the Era of Globalization and Economics of Higher Education in Jammu and Kashmir were also released on the occasion. All the three books have been written by Prof Rais Ahmed (Aligarh Muslim University).
Prof Javid Musarrat said that these books will add to the knowledge resources and will give an insight to the students and scholars about the latest trends and practices in business and Economics.
Those who were present on the occasion include Dr Ashfaq Ahmed Zarri, Registrar BGSBU, Prof Shujjaudin, Director CBS, Prof GM Malik, Dean of Students, HoDs and faculty members of various departments of the University.
