JAMMU, Jan 1: The ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) has witnessed remarkable progress across various Districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
Commissioner, Food and Drugs Administration, J&K, Shakeel UI Rehman Rather, led the initiative in Panchayat Dali-Udhyanpur o Doda District.
The event emphasized a collaborative approach for holistic regional development, echoing a special message from the Prime Minister.
In Shopian District, Director Legal Metrology J&K, Majid K Drabu, chaired the VBSY at Panchayat Halqa Shirmal Shopian, focusing on community engagement and spreading awareness about Government schemes. Participants were educated on the benefits of these schemes during the Yatra.
Srinagar Municipal Corporation extended the VBSY to Sheikh Dawood Colony and Shaheed Gunj, promoting collaboration and knowledge-sharing among diverse departments.
The initiative served as a pivotal platform for officers and officials to interact with the local community.
Anantnag District witnessed an extensive reach of the VBSY in far-flung areas of Larnoo and Kokernag, broadcasting the Prime Minister’s message to raise awareness about welfare schemes. The Yatra brought together over 2.50 lakh enthusiastic participants, showcasing tangible improvements.
In Samba District, Director Sericulture, Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, actively participated in the ongoing VBSY in Ganderbal, highlighting the significance of various welfare schemes. The campaign featured success stories of beneficiaries under multiple schemes.
Ramban District, led by Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Choudhary, achieved another milestone in the VBSY journey. Key officials emphasized the profound impact of centrally sponsored schemes aligned with the Prime Minister’s initiatives.
Udhampur District witnessed overwhelming response and positive engagement in the VBSY. The Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Van traversed through Jansal & Thanoa Panchayats, conducting health screening camps, distributing soil health cards, showcasing drone applications in agriculture, and undertaking the VBSY pledge.
Reasi District showcased the collaborative spirit of local governance and community engagement in the VBSY. The event spanned Kheralaid and Jamaslan-B, involving District Development Council members, Block Development Council representatives, PRI members, and local residents.
The focus remained on informing citizens about welfare programs and flagship schemes initiated by the government, with vibrant cultural presentations emphasizing the objectives and benefits of the VBSY.
The transformative journey of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) persists in District Pulwama, leaving an indelible mark on both rural and urban landscapes.
Having commenced on November 25, 2023, the Yatra has traversed Panchayats, Municipalities, and villages, saturating Government schemes and extending its impact to the unreached.
This ongoing odyssey is a testament to its commitment to reaching every corner of the district, touching the lives of countless beneficiaries.
In Rajouri District, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) IEC van traversed through the Panchayats of Darhal, Thannamandi, Manjakote, Plangarh, and Budhal Old blocks, to communicate and raise awareness about flagship schemes of the Government.
The campaign was conducted at Shadra-B, Saroola Lower, Saroola Upper, Mangal Nar Lower, Mangal Nar Upper, Nadian-B, Kothra, Ujhan-D, Lower Dodaj-A, Badakana, Mehrajpura, Jamola Lower, Jamola Upper A, Khurad and Chambitrar Panchayats.
Former Minister and National Executive Member of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), Priya Sethi, also held a programme at Akhnoor where she exuded the confidence that the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra will prove to be immensely motivational for the people to benefit from various welfare schemes designed to ensure their welfare and economic upliftment by the ruling Government in the Centre.
She said that people must ensure that no one is left out and the last man in the line is also benefitted as per the wish of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
