JAMMU, Dec 8: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), a nationwide campaign, has been making a transformative impact across different districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
As part of the campaign in Jammu District, the IEC van reached Panchayat Hamirpur and Sainth of Block Khour today amid a warm welcome by the members of the Swagat Committee, PRI Members.
The VBSY Van conveyed the message of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his vision of making India a developed nation by 2047.
The van displayed a video message of the PM, urging the people to take a pledge to work for the progress and prosperity of the country. The people present at the event took the Sankalp, pledge and expressed their commitment for the cause.
Representatives of the line departments also presented their stalls and explained the various schemes and programmes run by the government for the public welfare. They also distributed pamphlets and brochures to the people and answered their queries.
At Suchetgarh, the Yatra event hosted at the Government High School in Badyal Qazian, witnessed active participation from various departments, each contributing to the success of the yatra.
Under the guidance of Block Development Officer, Akanksha Gupta, the yatra offered on-the-spot services to the villagers.
Notable dignitaries present at the function included Akanksha Gupta, Block Development Officer of Suchetgarh, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The guest of honour, the Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat, added to the celebratory atmosphere. Under the campaign, similar events were held in Akhnoor as well.
In Kathua District, the impactful activities under the campaign concluded today. The IEC campaign left an indelible mark on communities in Panchayats of Ladhwal, Gher, Chak Nathal, Changi of Block Marheen, Panchayat Lowang South, Lowang North, Chandal, Barmota of Block Bani, and Panchayat Bijohoe of Block Lohai Malhar.
The yatra served as a catalyst for multifaceted engagement, hosting an array of activities that underscored the commitment to holistic community development. Health camps, Sankalp Pledge ceremonies, sports activities, and insightful awareness sessions conducted by dedicated officials on their respective departmental schemes were among the various highlights of the program.
As part of the campaign in Samba District, the IEC Vans visited multiple Panchayats, spreading awareness about the Government schemes.
Joint Secretary PMSSY, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, Ankita Mishra Bundela commended the District Administration’s efforts, witnessed a cultural show, and interacted with beneficiaries. Success stories were shared under ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubaani,’ emphasizing how Government initiatives have positively impacted lives.
In Udhampur District, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra led by Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai, is currently in progress across 12 Gram Panchayats.
Innovative Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Vans, equipped with audio-visual facilities, traversed these Panchayats, engaging residents and disseminating valuable information about Government initiatives. Beneficiaries actively participated by sharing their success stories through the “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani” initiative. This endeavor aims to enhance awareness and encourage participation in various government schemes, ensuring their efficient implementation within specified timelines.
In Reasi District, the Health Department organized medical check-up camps, emphasizing preventive healthcare. Golden Cards were distributed for essential healthcare access, and free medicines were provided.
Screenings for non-communicable diseases and tuberculosis were conducted. The initiative received community support, highlighting collaborative efforts for comprehensive healthcare goals.
Director, Jal Jeeven Mission-II, Ranjit Kumar and Prabhari Officer for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) for Ramban District today conducted an extensive tour of various Panchayats and reviewed the arrangements made by all stakeholders to organize programmes ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ at Panchayat level across District Ramban.
Deputy Commissioner, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary led the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra held in 82 panchayats of Ramban district including four Panchayats covered today including Pingloga, Senabathi-A, Senabathi-B, and Paristan.
Participating in ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ events at Panchayat Pingloga, the Director interacted with the PRIs and locals, besides taking feedback from beneficiaries about implementation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) in Ramban district.
Keeping in view the commitment and innovative approach of the people of District Ramban, the Director said “I am quite sure that we will achieve the goal to make India a developed Nation by 2047”.
The Prabhari Officer expressed confidence in the positive impact of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and reiterated the government’s commitment towards the holistic development of Ramban.
Doda experienced a wave of change through the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, engaging different blocks like Marmat and Bhagwah. The Yatra showcased cultural diversity, Government schemes, and services.
Celebrations in Panchayat Dudwar featured cultural programs, sports activities, and expressions of gratitude from scheme beneficiaries.
In Kishtwar, the Yatra sensitized people about centrally sponsored schemes through IEC Vans. Health camps, pledge ceremonies, sports activities, and awareness initiatives are conducted.
The Yatra aimed at informing and empowering the citizens about the Government’s developmental and welfare schemes. It included testimonials from beneficiaries and on-the-spot services to enhance awareness and accessibility.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) in District Rajouri has achieved a significant milestone as it entered the Nowshera and Lamberi blocks. The 72-day campaign aimed at promoting the Government schemes and ensuring their maximum reach and benefits to the targeted beneficiaries within a specified timeframe.
The VBSY has generated tremendous enthusiasm and active participation among the local communities and Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) in the district. The event has received strong support from the public, showcasing their commitment to the development and progress of the nation.
The IEC Vans, which play a central role in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, have been traveling through the picturesque locations of Dabber-A, M Devi B, Dharat, Dabber-B, Deeing, Gagrote, M Devi-A, Mangiot, Seyal of Block Seri, and Garan, Bagnoti, Rajal-B, Dandesar, Chakjarallan, and Lamberi Lower of Block Lamberi.
As part of ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a number of left-out beneficiaries were covered under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojna (PMUY) in rural areas of Srinagar District by organizing awareness camps.
The camps were organized on directions of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad in all 21 Panchayat Halqas of Hawan, Khonmoh, Srinagar and Qamarwari Blocks of the District.
During the camps organized by Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, people in all the Panchayats Halqas of the District participated actively with excitement and visited stalls set up by OMC’s authorized dealers who placed kiosks with personnel to promote and educate the people about the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala yojna (PMUY).
The people were educated by the officials equipped with computers, biometric authentication machines, and a PMUY information bulletin pamphlet. Various services like on spot Aadhar authentication, KYC updation, besides fresh PMUY connection were provided to the beneficiaries on spot.
Feedbacks were taken from the PMUY beneficiaries’ and recorded under “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani”.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, kick-started on November 25th, continued its impactful stride across Baramulla District, marking a significant leap forward in driving progress and inclusive development.
The Yatra, today journeyed through 10 panchayats across the district including Delina and Chandoosa among others where officials from diverse departments actively engaged with the local public, providing crucial information on multitude of Centrally Sponsored and UT based beneficiary schemes run by the Government of India.
The Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Vans traversed between panchayats, serving as dynamic platforms to raise awareness about different government schemes. These vans are equipped with advanced technology, enabling them to conduct audio-visual presentations, interactive sessions, workshops, and awareness programs.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra reached Hayhama and Handwara blocks in Kupwara District, covering far-flung Panchayats. IEC Vans disseminated information on centrally sponsored schemes, fostering empowerment and awareness. Beneficiaries shared experiences under ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani,’ encouraging others to avail welfare scheme benefits. The Yatra served as a one-stop solution, reaching people at their doorsteps and instilling belief in the Government’s initiatives for comprehensive development.
In Bandipora, the IEC Van of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra reached 14 Panchayats, spreading vital information on central Government schemes. The DC emphasized the importance of the Van in disseminating knowledge to remote areas. The Yatra included recorded messages from the Prime Minister, promoting awareness and understanding of various welfare schemes. It acted as an interactive platform, engaging people in understanding and benefiting from centrally sponsored initiatives.
Anantnag’s Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra focused on exceptional community engagement, fostering development across sectors. Interactive workshops and seminars addressed unresolved issues, promoting open dialogue and shared responsibility for community development. Skill development programs, health and wellness camps, and cultural events contributed to socioeconomic growth. Collaborative projects with local authorities aimed at improving infrastructure, educational facilities, and overall development in Anantnag District.
Shopian District continued the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra with massive public participation, covering six Panchayats of Zainapora block. The Yatra included a Viksit pledge, IEC Vans for scheme awareness, and discussions on Government-sponsored welfare schemes. Beneficiaries shared experiences under ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani,’ urging others to benefit from welfare schemes.
In Ganderbal District, the Yatra covered 6 more Panchayats of block Wakura including Dab, Guzhama, Kurhama-A, Kurhama-B, Yangoora-A and Yangoora-B, where the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani and Chief Planning Officer, Irfan Giri played a pivotal role in overseeing impactful activities within the Panchayats.
From the grassroots level, a wave of positive change has surged through the communities, breathing life into the principles of Viksit Bharat.
In the district, the yatra unfolded as a testament to the commitment to rural development. Each day brought forth a new chapter in the narrative of progress, as the yatra traversed through the heartland of Ganderbal, connecting with 84 panchayats and their vibrant communities.
