JAMMU, Mar 7: J&K Batwal Youth Welfare Association (BYWA) in a function here today unanimously elected Dr Varinder Paul Lakhotra as its president for a period of three years.
Dr Varinder will be authorized to nominate other office-bearers of the body.
Dr Varinder is the son of late Ex-MLA Sat Paul Lakhotra.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Varinder assured the community members to work for the welfare, advancement and progress of the community youths.
Prominent among those who attended the function included BWA Election Commissioner, Dr Ramesh Kumar Kaith; Romesh Sargotra, R.L Kaith, O.P Sargotra, Darshan Lal Motan, JMC Corporator Rashpal Bhardwaj, Municipal Councillor Krishan Lal Kaith, Kamal Chand Motan, Gunni Ram Kaith, Baldev Chand Sandhu, Chaman Lal Lakhotra and others.
