KATRA, Aug 22: In a rare incident, a Vaishno Devi pilgrim from Ftehpur, Utter Pradesh, delivered a female baby while on way to the Bhawan, here today.
The woman, identified as Urmila Devi (35), wife of Rajkaran was on way to the Bhawan when she suddenly developed delivery pains following which she was rushed to Chanji Chatt Dispensary where she delivered a female baby.
As the delivery was normal and both mother and the baby were stated to be fit, they are likely to be flown to Katra tomorrow for way back to home.
