Vaccination camp held at Passport Seva Kendra

JAMMU, July 3: Regional Passport Office Jammu today organized a COVID-19 vaccination camp at Passport Seva Kendra, here for its officials, TCS employees, allied staff and their family members.
During the camp, a total of 186 participants were inoculated with the sole objective covering all eligible employees and their dependents under the protection of vaccine. “Auspiciously participants neither feel unsure about the safety and efficacy of the vaccines nor showed any hesitancy or reluctance to take the Covishield jab and left the camp satisfied,” said an official of Passport Seva Kendra Jammu.
The vaccination drive was held in collaboration with the District Administration where first and second dose of vaccination of Covishield were successfully administered to the recipients by adhering all safety protocols issued by the Government.
The participants were also sensitized regarding COVID appropriate behaviour to raise awareness over the new challenges imbued by the deadly second wave of corona virus and ensuing third wave.
Regional Passport Officer Jammu, NK Shil said that they were committed towards the health and safety of staff determinedly working amid high risk of contracting corona infection to deliver the much-needed passport related services to the common public as well as our applicants during this volatile time of corona induced crisis situation.
He also thanked Chief Secretary, Dr Arun Kumar Mehta, Divisional Commissioner, Dr Raghav Langer, DC Jammu Anshul Garg, SDM (N) Satish Kumar, for providing their full cooperation and support in organizing the successful vaccination camp.
