JAMMU, Mar 2: V K Singh, Director General Fire & Emergency Services, J&K, today inspected the Fire & Emergency Stations Bari Brahmana, Samba, Hiranagar, Kathua and Command Office Kathua.
He interacted with the staff and issued a number of on-spot directions to the concerned officers for quick response to ensure the Fire Service motto “We Serve to Save”. He took note of inadequate infrastructure and shortage of manpower.
He appreciated the dedication and devotion of team Fire Services in the discharge of duties. He was accompanied by Raj Kumar Raina, Assistant Director, Fire & Emergency Services, Samba Kathua, during the inspection.
V K Singh, who is also Commandant General Home Guards / Civil Defence / SDRF, also inspected the office of Deputy Controller Civil Defence Samba, Tejinder Kour. He was accompanied by Vikas Gupta Director, Home Guards Jammu and SSP Samba Dr Koushal Kumar.
