Upward trend in fuel prices continue; petrol above Rs 77 mark

NEW DELHI: Fuel prices continue to hike with no relief to consumers.
Petrol became dearer by 8 to 10 paise a litre while diesel prices were raised by 12 to 13 paise per litre across major cities of the country.
In national capital, petrol costs Rs 71.81 a litre as against Rs 71.73 on Thursday while diesel price climbed to Rs 67.12 per litre as compared to yesterday’s Rs 67.00
In Mumbai, petrol is retailing at Rs 77. 44 while diesel costs Rs 70.31 per litre, according to IOC’s website.
In Chennai, petrol costs Rs 74.56 a litre while diesel is sold at Rs 70.93 per litre. Similarly, in Kolkata, petrol is at Rs 73.90 and diesel retailing at Rs 68.91 a litre.
In Gurugram, petrol costs Rs 72.12 and diesel price hiked to Rs 66.42.
Petrol in Noida selling at Rs 71.41 while diesel price raised to Rs 66. 13 per litre.
