JAMMU, Mar 17: Continuing its efforts to bring more efficiency and transparency in the working of Revenue Department and to provide good governance to the people of the State, the Minister for Revenue, Javaid Mustafa Mir has directed the officers and officials of the Revenue Department to submit their Annual Property Returns (APRs) 2014-15 immediately.
Mr. Mir has directed the Financial Commissioner Revenue to issue necessary instructions to Divisional Commissioners and all Deputy Commissioners/Regional Director, Survey and Land Records to ensure be uploading of statement of Annual Property Returns (APRs)for 2014-15 of Revenue officials on their official Websites.
The Minister said that this is one of the step to eradicate the menace of corruption in the department, however, it is being felt that the that the information regarding the property of Revenue officials should be available in the public domain.
