KATRA, Jan 9: An elderly person from Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, was found dead under mysterious circumstances near parking of Railway Station Katra, here today.
The deceased was identified as Manoj Kumar (60), son of Babu Lal, resident of House number 172, Mohalla Premganj, near Govt School Spiribazar, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. The deceased might be a pilgrim.
The dead body was spotted by the Railway Police, which shifted it to mortuary room of the CHC Katra for post-mortem and other legal formalities. An inquest proceeding under section 174 CrPC has been initiated in this regard at Police Station GRP Katra.
