JAMMU, Aug 22: The News18 Network has unveiled new logo of its News 18 Jammu/Kashmir/Ladakh/Himachal network, to mark 75th anniversary of India’s Independence.
With the launch of this channel, News18 Network is now available in 18 languages, with the addition of Dogri, Kashmiri and Ladakhi to its bouquet.
The event was organised last evening with Tajinder Singh Sodhi, channel head News 18 Jammu/Kashmir/Ladakh as chief guest to launch the new logo of News 18. The crowd was enthusiastic to witness the occasion.
Famous Mirchi’s programme’s producer, Abhishek began the event with zeal and enthusiasm. He also filled the atmosphere with enriching knowledge and addressed the importance of news and key elements of journalism in our daily lifestyle along with introducing about the India’s No 1 News network News18 in finally serving it’s best in our region.
Mirchi’s RJ Chaitanya and RJ Rohit took over the stage and banged it with the fun activities and performances also had with very interactive fun session with audience. They proceeded the event by felicitating the chief guest TS Sodhi along with Gareema Singh Parihar actor/model.
Chaitanya Gupta, Group head 98.3 Mirchi while sharing about the initiatives of Mirchi said, “Mirchi has always ensured to promote entertainment and happiness in the day to day life of Jammuites, through Radio as well as such events and we believe that this is the biggest achievement for the media fraternity and News 18 network to begin with the news channel in our region.
