JAMMU, May 17: An unidentified man died today after being run over by a train in Channi area of Jammu.
An official of GRP Jammu said that the man was trying to cross the railway track this afternoon at Channi Fatak but was run over by a vacant train returning from Katra and died on the spot.
“The body of the deceased has been kept at mortuary room of Government Medical College, Jammu for identification/postmortem,” he said, adding, police station GRP Jammu had taken cognizance of the matter.
