JAMMU, Jan 17: An unknown man of age about 50 years was today found dead on Jewel flyover in the jurisdiction of police station Nowabad.
According to a police spokesman, some passersby this morning found a man lying on the Jewel flyover in an unconscious condition and informed the flying squad of the police, which reached the spot and shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
“Prima facie it appears that the man died of cardiac arrest”, the spokesman said, adding, the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for identification/postmortem and inquest proceedings initiated at police station Nowabad.
