JAMMU, Dec 25: The dead body of an unknown man was recovered today from Gandhi Nagar area of city outskirts.
“An unidentified man of age about 60-65 years was found dead today near Fateh Singh Gurudwara, Gandhi Nagar,” a police official said. He said that the deceased is about 5 feet 7 inches tall, whitish in colour and is wearing blue jacket, golden coloured sweater and brown pajama.
He further said that the body was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/postmortem while inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC was initiated in this connection at police station Gandhi Nagar.
“Any information regarding identical and residential particulars may be communicated to police station Gandhi Nagar or PCR Jammu,” the official added.
