JAMMU, Dec 24: The dead body of an unknown man was recovered from Narwal area of city outskirts.
“An unidentified man of age about 45 years was found dead behind a wine shop in an abandoned plot in Narwal area on Monday,” a police official said. He said that the deceased is about 5 feet 7 inches tall, blackish in colour and is wearing pent and shirt.
“The deceased had also head injury,” the official said, adding his body was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/postmortem while inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC was initiated in this connection at police post Narwal.
He said that any information regarding identical and residential particulars may be communicated to police post Narwal, police station Trikuta Nagar or PCR Jammu.
