JAMMU, Oct 9: The dead body of an unknown woman was recovered today from a canal in Bishnah area of city outskirts.
The body of the deceased was partially decomposed when recovered from Ranbir Canal at Deoli (Bishnah), a police official said, adding, the deceased was about 35 years old.
“We have shifted the body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/postmortem while inquest proceeding has been initiated in this connection in police station Bishnah,” the official added.
