Jammu, May 8: Dharam Jagran Samnvay Vibhag urged the masses to remain united as unity among masses is need of hour. Dharam Jagran Samnvay Vibhag with association of Rajput Sabha celebrated the birth anniversary of Mewad Shri Maharana Pratap at Eden Garden here today. Rajya Sabha Member Parliament Shamsher Singh Manhas asked society to follow the footstep of Maharana Partap who sacrificed his life for people of the country.
The birth anniversary of crown of Mewad Shri Maharana Pratap was celebrated at Eden gardens with great enthusiasm. Large number of people from different walks of life participated in the birth anniversary of Maharana Partap.
While addressing the gathering, DJSV convenor, Rakesh ji throw light on the life of Maharana Partap and described how he successfully united different castes and sections of the society like Brahmans, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas and Shudras to defeat foreign invader Akbar.
Rakesh Ji said even in present times, the only way before us is to unite the whole society in order to get over the current problems. “We could learn alot from Maharana Pratap about Patriotism”. He asked people of society to remain united for nation as some forces are hell bent to divide the people.
Shamsher Singh Manhas their while addressing the gathering asked the people to follow the great ideals of Maharana Pratap in their lives. He (Maharana Pratap) sacrificed his life for the nation and never bowed before invading mughals. President of Rajput Sabha Narayan Singh gave a clarion call to people of society particularly Rajputs to play a proactive role in integrating the Hindu society. Shri Shiv Raina and head of Saddar Sabha,Rtd. S.P Shri Ratan Chand asked the audience to stay united.
