LEH, July 6: The Secretary, Housing and Urban Affairs GoI, Durga Shanker Mishra chaired a meeting regarding progress and implementation of various schemes pertaining to Housing and Urban Development Department through video conferencing.
Advisor UT Ladakh, Umang Narula attended the meeting from UT Ladakh.
A power-point presentation was presented regarding various schemes viz AMRUT, PMAY, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, National Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM) and others implementing in Ladakh and highlighted various issues.
The Secretary stressed on expediting and completion of all schemes in a time bound manner and assured all assistance in the shape of manpower, funding, and technical knowhow.
UT Ladakh was also to identify projects on the same lines of smart cities.
Deputy Commissioner Leh, Sachin Kumar Vaishya, Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Baseer Ul Haq Chaudhary, Director H&UDD Ladakh Moses Kunzang, Superintending Engineer PWD Leh Pradeep Sharma and Chief Planning Officer Leh Tsewang Gyaltsan also attended the meeting.
