LEH, Dec 20: On the request of CEC LAHDC, Leh Rigzin Spalbar to Union Minister for Rural Development Jairam Ramesh regarding inclusion J&K in the list of “PM’s Rural Development Fellowship” (PMRDFs), the Ministry of Rural Development GoI has allocated 20 PMRDFs to J&K State today.
This scheme is being introduced for the first time in J&K and initiative entitled PMRDFs offering a three -year work opportunity to bright young women and men (with professional expertise) to serve the District Administration in improving programme delivery and interface with marginalized sections of the population.
In this regard, the Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS) has proposed to conduct Online All India Competency Assessment Test (AICAT) at three Centers in J&K i.e Jammu, Srinagar and Leh and Tata Consultancy Service will come to each of three centers to manage the online test.
The graduate youths of Leh district could avail this opportunity from the scheme and the applications will be received up to December 30, 2013.
