RAJOURI, Dec 22: Calling the teachers as the basic building block of the society who are responsible for the overall growth of an individual, the Member of Legislative Council (MLC) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State vice president advocate Vibodh Gupta today lauded the role of the teachers in shaping the overall future of the students who later will become the respectable citizens of the State and country.
Speaking as a chief guest in a function at Government Higher Secondary School Dangri, which was organised in connection with the Community Mobilisation Programme, the MLC informed that the Coalition Government in the State is committed to provide VIP protocol to the teaching community which at present is striving hard to get their due respect and dignity. He also informed that the effective steps in this regard are already being taken by the State Education Department to give teachers a respectful and dignified recognition.
While announcing the release for Rs one lakh out of his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for the infrastructural development of the school, Vibodh said that the BJP led Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is devising a new education policy which would further strengthen and streamline the Education Sector in the State in a big way.
Vibodh asked the members of the Village Education Committees (VECs), sarpanchs and panchs to aware the people regarding the Central and State sponsored schemes which could help in the promotion of the schools in the far flung areas of the district.
