JAMMU, Dec 22: Speaker State Assembly, Kavinder Gupta today visited the office of Industrial Estate Digiana and discussed various issues with representatives of the Association of Small Scale Industries, Digiana.
President of the Association, Jatinder Aul highlighted the problems of frequent power cuts faced by the industrial units.
Ved Sharma also spoke on the occasion and complimented the Speaker. Others who attended the meeting were Baldev Singh Biloria, president BJP, Jammu district, Vinay Gupta, Jai Deep Sharma, Harbans Choudhary, Sanjay Chopra etc.
Kavinder Gupta assured the members to solve their problems on priority basis.
The Association representatives also submitted a memorandum to Speaker highlighting their demands. Besides the power cuts, the memorandum said that the industrialists of the area are facing low voltage problem and demanded construction of separate station for Industrial Estate Diagiana to get round the clock power supply.
They demanded that the issue regarding the allotment of sheds be addressed, the industrialists be given 100 percent subsidy of DG Sets, allotment of land for Association Office and deployment of Safai Karamcharis in the Industrial Estate.
